Build your timeline without shame with Guilty Pleasures, because let's be honest, deep down everyone can sing along. Hitster is the music game where you don't have to be a music expert. But your chance of winning does go up if you can also name the artists and song titles.

Hitster: how it works

Pick a music card and scan the QR code with the Hitster app to play the song automatically on Spotify. Guess when the song was released and place the card in the right spot in your music timeline. Turn the music card over. Did you guess the year correctly? Then you keep the music card to build your timeline further. Tip: adding the Hitster tokens to the mix makes the game even more exciting.

Can you play Hitster without Spotify?

Yes. You can play HITSTER without a Spotify account, but you won't get the best game experience. You will only hear 20 seconds of each song. Spotify offers a temporary free trial of Spotify Premium when you sign up for an account. Go to: https://www.spotify.com/nl/premium/

Can you play Hitster with YouTube, Apple Music, Deezer or another streaming service?

Yes, you can, but in that case one player has to search for the song on the song card manually in their favourite music streaming service instead of scanning the card with the HITSTER app. You can choose one player as the DJ for the whole game OR take turns playing the song by passing your device to the next player each turn.
