HITSTER

Hitster

This is the Dutch-language edition. With more than 300 of the biggest hits from the past 100 years, Hitster is the perfect party game for an evening of laughing, singing and definitely no Ludo.
Open the box, scan a music card and let the music do the rest to turn it into a party! So what are you waiting for? Invite your friends over for a fun night and find out who will be crowned Hitster!
Hitster is the music game where you do not have to be a music expert. But your chances of winning do go up if you can also name the artists and song titles.

How to play Hitster

1. First you pick a music card and scan the QR code with the Hitster app to play the song automatically on Spotify.
2. Then you guess when the song was released and place the card in the right spot in your music timeline.
3. Next you turn the music card over. Did you guess the year correctly? Then you keep the music card to build up your timeline.
4. As soon as you have ten cards in your timeline, you win the game!

Tip: add the Hitster tokens to the mix for an even more exciting game!

Can you play Hitster without Spotify?

Yes. You can play HITSTER without a Spotify account, but you will not get the best game experience. You will only hear 20 seconds of each song. Spotify offers a temporary free trial of Spotify Premium when you sign up for an account. Go to: https://www.spotify.com/nl/premium/

Can you play Hitster with YouTube, Apple Music, Deezer or another streaming service?

Yes you can, but then appoint one player as DJ. The DJ has to search for the song on the song card manually in the app you want to use, instead of scanning the card with the Hitster app.

In short: Spotify Premium works best.
