Putin's Northern War: The Coming Struggle for Finland

Picture this: tensions in the far north are rising and you are right in the middle of it. In Putin's Northern War: The Coming Struggle for Finland you step into the shoes of a commander. Playing with two, one of you leads the Russian forces while the other commands the alliance of Finland and Sweden. Two sides, two plans, one map full of choices. This is a wargame that challenges you to think ahead. As the Russian player you go for a fast, powerful campaign against Finland, and maybe even a grab for the Swedish island of Gotland. On the other side of the table, your opponent tries to stop exactly that. Every half week on the game clock counts, and every move on the map can make the difference. If you prefer playing alone, you can also take on the game solo. A game lasts two to four hours, so you have plenty of time to lose yourself in the fight. Want even more? Combine this game with Putin Strikes for a large-scale gaming adventure. The rules are manageable, so even if you do not have much experience with this kind of game, you will get a long way.
