Dracula vs Van Helsing

Years after their first clash, Dracula sets foot in Whitby once again. The townsfolk are terrified and call on the help of Professor Van Helsing, the famous vampire hunter. Can he defeat Dracula before the whole town turns into vampires? In this duel for two players, one takes on the role of the bloodthirsty count and the other that of the determined hunter. Each round you draw a card and decide quickly: do you discard it or swap it with one of the five cards on your rack? Every discarded card triggers a special effect, and with eight different card types you never quite know what your opponent has in store. The game lasts at most five rounds, so every choice counts. If you dare, you can call the end of the round yourself to push your plan through. At the end of each round you lay your cards side by side. For each of the five districts you check who has the strongest card. If Dracula wins, another townsperson turns into a vampire. If Van Helsing wins, the count loses a life point. If Dracula turns all four townspeople of the same district, the town is lost. But if Dracula loses all his life points, the nightmare is over. A thrilling game of cat and mouse where the tension builds right up to the last card.
