After recent events, the reclusive Esther Hail, who has saved the city several times, hates her new reputation. Intruding wannabe heroes and vengeful demons endlessly disturb her studies at the Crooked Bone.
Instead of moving, she decides to enchant her door, shrinking anyone who opens it. And this is where you come in: your character is an aspiring hero who, in an ill-considered attempt at fame, tries to visit Hail and poof! Now you are tiny and you find yourself in a lawless realm! Your mission is clear: find another way into the Crooked Bone and convince Hail to undo your small status.
Buttons & Bugs gives you the same deep strategic combat as Gloomhaven, but at a fraction of the size. Thanks to its compact dimensions and streamlined system, you can set up and play a scenario in less than 20 minutes, and it fits on your coffee table or even on an airplane tray!
