Yeti in My Spaghetti

There is a yeti sitting on the spaghetti, and nobody knows why. But that is not the point. You lay the plastic strands across the rim of the bowl, place the little yeti on top, and then the exciting part begins. On your turn you carefully pull out one strand with one hand. Does the yeti stay put? Then it is the next player's turn. But watch out: take away too many strands, or just the wrong one, and the yeti drops to the bottom with a plop. Whoever lets that happen is out. And whoever pulled the last strand before that wins.
