This is the Dutch-language edition. It is the end of the 19th century and the Dutch landscape is dotted with more than 9,000 windmills. Some were built especially to keep the low-lying areas, the polders, dry. In the polders between these mills lie fields full of colourful tulips. The tulip once played an important role in the turbulent history of the first financial bubble (tulip mania), but it has now become an essential part of the Dutch landscape, especially along the famous Flower Route.
In Windmill Valley, a game inspired by the Flower Route, you and up to three other players take on the roles of tulip growers and entrepreneurs. You build windmills and improve them. You go looking for new tulip bulbs to plant and you try to get ahead thanks to helpers and profitable contracts. Make sure your competitors look with envy at your beautiful flower fields!
