War Chest

In War Chest you start by gathering an army that is all your own. You pick different units and put their coins in your bag. Then each round you draw three coins and decide what to do with them: attack, move or strengthen your position. Bit by bit you build up your power on the board. The excitement lies in the choices. You not only command your units on the battlefield, you also keep an eye on what is still waiting in your bag. Whoever responds best to the moment captures the key points and slowly backs the opponent into a corner. With four players you even fight in teams, which makes the games even livelier. A full battle takes about half an hour, ideal for an evening of puzzling and planning together. Every game plays out differently, because you can choose different units each time. Perfect for sitting down together at the table and taking each other on.
