Virtus

For centuries, thinkers and philosophers have searched for a life of balance and wisdom. They looked to the seven virtues: charity, faith, hope, courage, justice, temperance and prudence. These ideals are more than fine words. They clash, pull and push, and they shape everyone who tries to master them. In Virtus you face each other in a struggle to master these virtues. Whoever has the most influence over a virtue gains its power and takes valuable points. Each turn you choose cards that belong to a virtue and try to embody that virtue more than your opponent. Your rival then has to adjust their plan to keep up. Virtus is quick to learn, but packed with tactical choices. Collecting cards, grabbing the majority and ever changing powers mean no two games feel the same. Are you looking for a short game to fill a gap, or a real battle of wits against wits? Every round is a test of insight and looking ahead. Can you rise above your opponent and prove your virtue?
