Towers of Sifnos

On the small island of Sifnos a treasure lies hidden in the ground: gold, silver and lead. But riches attract danger. After an attack by enemies, the islanders decided to protect their land better. They built a network of more than seventy towers, so they could pass on messages quickly and warn each other when pirates came across the sea. In Towers of Sifnos you step into the shoes of a commander from ancient Greece and prepare your people for what is to come. You build towers, call up soldiers and invest in the future of the island. Again and again pirates come ashore, and every attack is a chance to show what you are worth. After each wave the enemy grows in number, or allies arrive to help. Keep a close eye on your influence over the three minerals, because that is what it all comes down to. Whoever has the most points at the end wins. Suitable for 1 to 4 players aged 13 and up, with a playing time of about 90 minutes. Perfect for an evening of toiling, planning and defending together against everything that comes sailing across the sea.
