Things in Rings

In the middle of the table lie three overlapping rings. One player is the Knower and knows the secret rule for each ring. The others hold a handful of cards showing all sorts of objects and together they try to find the hidden logic. Is it about the spelling, the sound, what something is made of, or something else entirely? On your turn you place a card in the rings. If it matches the rule, you may place another card. If it does not, the Knower moves it to the right spot and you take a new card. That way you gather more and more clues. You can place cards where rings overlap, or completely outside all of them. The first player to get rid of all their cards wins. Things in Rings is a game for two to six players in which you mainly have to think carefully and sometimes puzzle out loud together. Within twenty minutes you are in the middle of a fun riddle and you see the penny drop for one player after another.
