Publisher: Mystic Tiger Games
You are drifting in a battered spaceship around an unstable white dwarf star. Each player is captain of their own wreck, and time keeps ticking. The star could go nova at any moment and take you with it. So there is only one thing that matters: repair your ship with anything you can get your hands on, and do it fast. Stellar Drift: Pull & Write is played over seven rounds. At the start of each round you draw coloured cubes from a shared bag. Those cubes are your resources for that moment. You use them to move around your own ship and cross off boxes on your sheet. Every box costs cubes of a certain colour and gives you something in return: new resources, handy powers or points. The best part is that everyone draws and crosses off at the same time, so you are never sitting around waiting. After seven rounds you add up how many systems you got running again. Whoever scores the most points is the captain who steered best through the chaos. You can play with up to five players or completely solo, and a game takes about 45 minutes. Ideal for an evening of puzzling together, each with your own ship and the same ticking clock.
