In Outliers Solo Journaling RPG you step into the shoes of a research assistant with a rather strange job. You work in a laboratory where nothing is normal. You have to recruit participants, gather data and do all sorts of odd jobs before the research money runs out. Sounds simple, until you notice that your test subjects are clones, time travellers and mysterious creatures. Keeping your job becomes an adventure in itself. You play this game completely alone, with pen and paper as your best friends. You write down your own story as you navigate the crazy situations in the lab. Every choice and every roll brings a new twist. Bit by bit you build a story that is yours alone, with quiet moments to reflect and tense moments where everything could come tumbling down. To play you need a notebook, a standard deck of playing cards, a six-sided die and ten tokens. A block tower is not required, but it makes things more exciting. Outliers uses the Wretched & Alone system and comes as an A5 booklet of 24 pages in black and orange, with a sturdy matte cover. Perfect for an evening completely in your own world.
