In For Northwood! A Solo Trick-Taking Game you travel alone through a kingdom full of animals. Your goal is to unite the realm of Northwood in peace. You do not do that with weapons, but with conversations. Over eight rounds you visit eight animal lands and talk with their rulers. Every conversation is a trick you have to win, and every ruler demands exactly the right number of tricks before joining you. You start with four allies. Each of them has their own skill that you may use once per visit. That way you can draw cards, discard them or adjust your hand slightly to land on exactly the right number. Have you won a ruler over? Then you may let them temporarily stand in for one of your allies. Handy, because the further you get, the tougher the lands become and the less room you have left. With multiple difficulty levels, 24 rulers of which twelve appear in each game, and a booklet of sixteen challenges, this game always stays fresh. Every time, a new puzzle is waiting for you.
