Onus Traianus

Step back in time and experience the great battles of antiquity. In Onus Traianus, Romans, Celts, Parthians and other mighty peoples face each other on the battlefield. What makes it special is that you do not need a single miniature. All troops come to life on beautiful cards, with real historical features and lovely artwork. During the game you give orders with action cards. With these you move your units forward, attack the enemy or play an event that can turn the battle around in an instant. Each card stands for a group of soldiers, sometimes dozens, sometimes hundreds. This gives you the feeling of a real battle, with all the unpredictability that comes with it. You can play Onus Traianus with two to four players, and even on your own. Expect around two hours of intense fighting, in which making the right choices matters and the luck of the dice sometimes spoils your plans. A game for anyone aged 12 and up who loves history and a tough challenge.
