Meowchase

Who will catch the little mouse first? In Meowchase a small mouse always slips away just in time, and it is up to the cat to catch up. You and the other players help out by laying cards and building a path that sends the cat the right way. The fun part of this game is that you do not have to wait politely for your turn. Everyone takes cards from the pile at the same time and puts them down, with arrows that set the direction. That way the path keeps growing and the cat gets closer and closer to its prey. Meanwhile children learn to read directions and think ahead without even noticing. With games of about fifteen minutes, Meowchase is perfect for a quick play. Little ones can join in from age four, and because you are working together it does not feel like playing against each other, but like going on a mouse hunt together.
