Make the Difference

Do you know those spot-the-difference puzzles where you put two nearly identical photos side by side and have to find the differences? In Make the Difference you create those differences yourself. One player gets two copies of the same photo and secretly draws small changes on it. After that, it is up to the others to work out exactly what has changed. The artist has two minutes to get to work. The rest get three minutes to spot all the differences. The tension lies in the balance: draw differences that are too easy and they will be found in no time. But hide a big change too well and nobody sees it, and that earns the artist points. So you are always looking for that fine line between standing out and staying hidden. Everyone gets a turn as the artist, and at the end the player with the most points wins. With 2 to 4 players and games of half an hour, this is a lovely game for the table, where you laugh together about what does and does not get noticed. Suitable from age 10.
