In The Lord of the Rings Adventure Book Game, the shadow of Sauron has fallen over Middle-earth and the One Ring must be destroyed. To complete their difficult quest, players work together to help beloved Lord of the Rings characters travel from The Shire to the fires of Mordor, while avoiding the Eye of Sauron.
This third part in Ravensburger's 'adventure book' series is divided into eight 'chapters' that are experienced on eight different 'pages' of board games. Each new chapter offers puzzles and challenges that players must overcome to move the story forward. The game allows for flexible play, both solo and cooperatively with the whole family, so players can choose their own style of adventure. Each chapter takes about twenty minutes to play.
