Leylines

Deep in the forest, your ancestors have lived for generations. They survive by following the leylines, winding threads of magic that weave their way between the pines and lead you to the forest's finest treasures. But you cannot live on moss and berries alone. At every solstice, the fairy markets roll into the forest with their caravans, packed with food and goods. Gather what you can and find the markets before they move on again. In Leylines, the goal is to collect resources in the forest and bring them back along the leylines to the markets to sell them. Do watch out: the magical merchants pay very different prices, depending on what they happen to be interested in at that moment. Each round you wake up and prepare your day by placing your dice. That is how you decide which actions you will take, and then you set off on an adventure through the forest. Along the way you pick up resources and bring them to the markets for gold or for magical items that help you further on your journey. Leylines is a fresh new version of the classic Auf Achse by Wolfgang Kramer, with new rules by Daryl Andrews. It takes place in a completely new world, with beautiful acrylic figures and a round game board full of enchanting leylines and mystical markets.
