Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is no more. His final act on his deathbed was writing the Lacrimosa, a part of his Requiem. You were one of his financial backers and now you sit at the table with his widow. One last time you contribute to the work of the Austrian master. And while you share old memories, you secretly hope she will present you in her memoirs as the most important pillar of support the composer ever had. In Lacrimosa you play in two time periods at once. In the present you commission other composers to finish the missing parts of the Requiem. In the past you travel with Mozart along the courts and theatres of Europe, buy new compositions to sell or to show, and gather everything needed to support him during his career. Step by step you build your version of the story. You play with a limited number of cards in hand, which you keep improving during the game. Each card can be played as an action or used to make resources. It is all about choosing and juggling with what you have, so that your bond with Mozart leaves the finest impression. Suitable for 1 to 4 players and an evening together of about an hour and a half.
