This is the Dutch-language edition. Hive is played with 2 players and the goal of the game is to completely surround your opponent's queen bee. The pieces are different insects that each move in their own way. The grasshopper, for example, may jump in a straight line to the first free space, the ant may walk as far as it likes and the beetle may take 1 step or climb on top of another piece. Each turn you may place a piece in the game or move a piece that is already there.
A game of Hive takes about 30 minutes on average. The Hive pieces are made of durable plastic and come in a nice cloth bag. That means you can take Hive anywhere: the beach, the pub, on holiday and so on. Hive offers a challenge for everyone.
