Welcome to the world of glitter and glamour, where everyone wants to show off the finest possessions. In High Society you bid on luxury cards that bring you prestige, but watch out: whoever spends the most money is out of the running at the end. Even the richest player can lose. That makes every bid exciting and every choice matters. This new edition looks gorgeous, with art in the style of the roaring twenties by Marie Bergeron. Three new cards have also been added, so every game plays out a little differently. The rules are easy to explain, but while playing you discover just how much tactics there is in it. High Society is a design by Reiner Knizia and plays nice and quickly in about half an hour. Perfect for a fun evening with three to five people at the table, laughing together about bold bids and exciting choices.
