Good Face Bad Face

Good Face Bad Face looks simple, but that is exactly how it gets you. It is all about pushing your luck and putting your opponents on the wrong foot. Each turn someone makes a secret little pile of cards from their hand and passes it on. When it reaches you, you may flip the top card or simply pass the pile along. The goal is to lay out four happy faces in front of you. Sounds easy, until you flip over an angry face. Then all those collected happy faces are gone again. And so you hesitate: do you flip that top card, or do you play it safe and pass? This is a game full of tension and bluffing. You watch the cards, take the occasional gamble and above all try to get inside the heads of the others. With two to five players and games of half an hour, you will want to play again straight away, because that one time you really should have kept going just a little longer.
