You and your family have just one goal: climb the social ladder and win over the powerful Medici family as best you can. Cosimo, Giovanni and Contessina move through the city, visiting one party after another. Whoever stands in the right place at the right moment makes an impression and gathers prestige. In Florence you send your family members out into the city to give gifts, show off what you have achieved, spread gossip and push your way through the crowded streets. It is all about time. As the evening goes on and the streets fill up with revellers, moving around becomes harder and harder. So you have to think carefully about which task you give to whom. Over nine rounds, the places that matter keep shifting, because the Medici keep moving. Each Medici member is won over in their own way, and the later it gets, the harder it becomes to impress them.
