Emerge

New islands have risen from the ocean, and you are one of the scientists who gets to study them. In Emerge you dive into brand new ecosystems that are still fully developing. As you learn more about each island, you see it grow before you. The islands on the game board build up in three dimensions, and you fill them with colourful plants and animals. Each round you roll your dice and use them to gather research and make discoveries. Everyone starts with the same research board, but that does not stay the same. Along the way you adjust your own board and decide for yourself what you want to focus on. That way nobody plays exactly the same game. After eight rounds you count the points. You score for the growth and the variety of life on your islands, and for the research goals you have completed along the way. A game that gives you and your friends at the table the feeling that you are really discovering something new.
