Deductio

Deductio is all about listening, calculating and thinking just one step further than the rest. Everyone gets a few numbered cards and keeps them well hidden. On your turn you multiply two of your own cards and say the result out loud. The others puzzle along: which two cards could those be? Bit by bit you get inside your fellow players' heads. The nice thing is that together at the table you keep gathering more clues. Every result someone calls out brings you closer to the answer. Whoever first knows which card lies hidden on the table shouts "Deductio" and reveals the number. Correct? Then you score a point. If you have guessed everyone's cards correctly, you even earn a bonus. But if you are wrong, you hand in a point and the game simply continues. Deductio is played with 2 to 8 players and a game takes about half an hour. Want to make it tougher? Then you play with more cards and a joker card is added that lets you skip a turn. Ideal for maths whizzes and anyone who loves combining and reasoning.
