Serving Cthulhu is quite good fun, until you realise that all the other followers would love to drive you mad. So make sure you get there first! In this dice game it is all about sanity: whoever stays clear-headed the longest wins. On your turn you roll one large, special twelve-sided die. Its faces show tentacles, elder signs and other lovely things in relief. With a roll you can destroy your opponents' sanity, or better still, simply take it for yourself. But watch out when Cthulhu himself appears, because then he snatches sanity from everyone. Each player has glass marbles that stand for their sanity. Lose all your marbles and you are raving mad. The last follower still thinking clearly wins the game. But if everyone goes mad at the same time? Then the win goes to Cthulhu. Within five minutes you know where you stand, so you will happily play another round. Ideal for a short, mean battle with two to six players.
