City of Gears

Step into an abandoned city full of gears, steam and forgotten machines. In City of Gears you work from your own factory to take over a beautiful clockwork metropolis. You send out small automatons, place gears to bring parts of the city back to life and try to stay one step ahead of your opponents. Steampunk at its finest, with steam coming from everywhere. Each turn you roll production dice and set city tiles in motion. Then you move your workers and choose from all kinds of actions: reclaim areas, expand your factory with special powers or get in your fellow players' way. Because only nine tiles come out of a large stack onto the table each time, the city looks different every game. No two games play the same. The goal is clear: collect as much prestige as you can before the big Opening Day arrives. Whoever makes the best plan and bends the city to their will wins. Playable in about an hour and suitable for two to four players aged eight and up. Will you set the City of Gears in motion?
