Battalion War of the Ancients

Take command of the mighty Roman legions and their allies. Send the crossbowmen of the Han dynasty through unknown deserts. Lead the famous Greco-Bactrian cavalry and fight for every oasis. Or give Hannibal his chance, with a colourful mix of mercenaries, elephants and the Sacred Band of Carthage. Leading an army is a balancing act in Battalion War of the Ancients. You pick a faction, look over the ranks and forge them into units. As the battle rages, you carefully hand out your orders and keep your troops standing. Every rank tile has its own trait that makes your units stronger. But combine too many and they become slow and hard to steer. This is an accessible game for two or four players. You play with a wide range of units from four historical factions, each with its own strengths and weak spots. Faction cards let you catch your opponent off guard. Build your army wisely, feel the rhythm of the fight and seize victory for your people.
