Axis & Allies D-Day

It is 6 June 1944, early in the morning. History is being made on the beaches of Normandy, and with Axis & Allies D-Day you are the one in charge. This standalone edition is all about Operation Overlord, the great Allied landing in occupied France. One player defends the German positions, while the others lead the troops of the United States, Great Britain and Canada as they storm the coast. With 240 detailed miniatures, a large game board and a special system of tactical cards, every turn feels like you are really commanding an army. You decide where to attack, where to hold your ground and when to launch the counterattack. The updated rules make this version smoother and clearer to play than ever. Axis & Allies D-Day is a game for two to three players aged 12 and up. Set aside some time, because a game takes about two hours. Perfect for an evening when you want to dive into one of the most famous battles ever and find out for yourself how the day could have ended.
