Far in the future, no humans live on Earth any more. Nobody knows exactly why they disappeared, but their empty place has been taken over by a remarkable kind of honeybee. These 'Mellifera' are bigger, smarter, and they have even used technology from old human ruins to travel through space!

About the game
In Apiary you choose one of the 20 unique bee factions. You start with your own hive, a few resources and worker bees. This is a worker placement game in which you explore planets, gather resources and develop new technologies. You also create works of art that earn your bee people prestige (points). But watch out: the great 'Dearth' is coming! Your bees can only take powerful actions a few times before they have to hibernate.

Why is it fun?

• Every faction is different, so no two games are the same.
• Unique worker placement: your bees keep getting stronger and give bigger benefits.
• Build your own bee empire on other planets.
