Picture this: beneath your patch of land lies a hidden maze of caves. You are a budding dragon expert, and you set out to find the finest dragons of all shapes, colours and sizes. In Wyrmspan you dig out tunnels and tempt these beautiful creatures to come and live in your caves. Step by step you build a true dragon paradise. You start with three excavated spaces, spread across your Crimson Cavern, your Golden Grotto and your Amethyst Abyss. During the game you open up more room and lure new dragons to their new home. Every dragon brings its own power, and when you link those powers together, surprising chain reactions appear. Meanwhile, you do your best to win the favour of the Dragon Guild. Wyrmspan is inspired by the rules of Wingspan, but it has plenty of ideas of its own to stand as a game in its own right. So you do not need Wingspan to enjoy it. Perfect for an evening of playing together, with everyone growing their own dragon realm.
