This is the Dutch-language edition. A bird game full of tactics and excitement!
As a bird lover, you place birds in your own personal nature area. Each bird ends up in one of three types of habitat: forest, grassland or wetland. There the birds get to work for you. In the forest food is gathered, the grassland makes sure eggs are laid, and the wetland gives you more bird cards. By letting your birds work together cleverly, you gain the most benefit.
Thanks to tactical combinations you score more eggs, cards or food than your opponents. There are plenty of ways to collect points. Whoever has the most points after four rounds wins the game.
The game contains 170 unique bird cards, which together with the various bonus cards provide endless variety. Wingspan also has lovely components, such as the birdhouse dice tower and the plastic eggs. Wingspan comes complete with a special automa variant for solo players.
