Every year, the graduating classes of the College of Magic compete to conquer the Tower of the County of Ravens. Each class tries to be the first to reach the legendary Raven Tower using magic. But the road to the Raven Tower is full of pitfalls and challenges. Only the class that uses its magical skills in the right way and masters the art of making towers fly will graduate as master magicians.
This is the English version (Wandering Towers). The game plays perfectly well in Dutch too, if you print out the rules in Dutch. You can find the rules below.
In the board game De Betoverde Torens, your goal is to be the first to move all of your wizards to the black tower. To do this, you need to play your hand cards cleverly to move your wizards and the various towers along the track. If you trap your opponents' wizards by placing a tower over them, you receive magic potions as a reward. You can use each of these potions once later in the game for extra bonus actions. To free a trapped wizard, you have to move the tower parts on top of it. The game ends when you have collected five magic potions and all of your wizards have reached the black tower. Besides playing against each other, the game also includes a team variant in which you work together with other players. You can also choose to add a master wizard or to play a variant with extra spells.
The beautiful artwork by Michael Menzel makes the experience of the board game De Betoverde Torens complete.
