Village Green

It is the first day of spring and the whole village is talking about one thing only: the contest for the best village green of the year. In a few months the judges will come round, and you get to lead the preparations. Time to show those posh neighbours from the next village what a real flower green looks like. In Village Green you are a keen gardener. You arrange flowers, plant trees, have statues made and lay out ponds. You want every piece in just the right spot, because time is short and the tension rises by the day. You split your days between buying new elements and entering your green for one of the many prizes. Will your village green become the laughing stock of the region, or will the neighbouring villages turn green with envy? This game by award-winning designer Peer Sylvester is beautifully illustrated and plays nice and smoothly. Perfect for a fun evening with up to five players, but you can also play it completely on your own. In about half an hour your green comes into bloom.
