Viking Route

Step aboard your Drakkar and sail with your Viking crew through misty seas and tales full of gods and monsters. In Viking Route you work as a team to reach your final goal in every scenario. Along the way enemies appear that want to thwart your journey. Everyone on board has their own role and their own strength, and it is precisely by playing together well that you make progress. The game has a surprising navigation system with magnets. Odin's ravens and a wind spirit steer the compass that represents your ship, so your course keeps changing and you have to think fast. The ship itself stands on the table as a real 3D object and is divided into zones. In one zone you operate the ballista, in another you hoist the sails, manage resources or take the helm. If Valkyries or monsters come too close, they board your Drakkar and the most exciting combat phase begins. In between you can step ashore to collect magic stones and resources. You play Viking Route as a campaign of four scenarios, or you choose the separate Ragnar"ok mode for an evening full of battle. Together you manage the fate deck, call on the help of the gods and look for the best approach. It is easy to follow for beginners, while seasoned players will find enough depth to enjoy for a long time.
