What makes something truly special? In Unicum it is all about that one feature that sets a card apart from the rest. Every object, every number, every shape has something that makes it stand out. It is up to you to spot it and convince the others. Because only the cards that get enough votes may enter the 'Circle of UNICUMS'. Cards are laid out on the table, depending on how many of you are playing. In secret you pick three candidates that you think will make it. Then players take turns pushing a card forward and explaining why it is so unique. The others may agree or protest. Only if the majority is convinced does a card end up in the circle. This leads to surprising discussions and sometimes plenty of laughter at the table. At the end everyone reveals their secret picks. Whoever judged the cards and the other players best scores the most points. Unicum is perfect for a fun evening with a larger group, because with three to seven players and games of about twenty minutes you can easily play a few rounds in a row.
