Tortuga 1667

It is 1667 and you are bobbing across the waters of the Caribbean as a pirate. Nearby lies a Spanish galleon packed with gold. You have convinced your crew to seize that treasure together. But there is one thing you have not told them: sharing is not part of your plan. Your friends say they are on your side and that together you will leave the greedy pirates behind on the rocky island of Tortuga. Still, you have seen their loaded pistols and heard their whispers of mutiny. Trust no one. In Tortuga 1667 everything revolves around what happens between the players. Sometimes you really need your enemies, for example when you attack that galleon together. But one turn later that same ally stabs you in the back, just to sail off with the whole haul. It is a game full of hidden motives, whispers and surprising twists at the table. Tortuga 1667 is part 2 in the Dark Cities Series from Facade Games. Play it with 2 to 9 players, from age 12, in about 40 minutes.
