The Wolves

The moon rises over the plain and your pack is ready to hunt. In The Wolves you set out to build the biggest and strongest pack of all. You claim territory, lure lone wolves to your side and chase down prey. But watch where you roam. Come too close to an opponent's hunting ground and you may well lose a few wolves to the enemy. Each round you flip terrain tiles that match the place where you want to act. That choice immediately decides what you can still do next round. So you are always thinking a step ahead, and the board keeps changing. As your pack grows, you also make your wolves stronger. Later in the game that lets you take on much more, and your moves get bolder. The Wolves is a strategy game in which you really keep track of each other. For players aged 14 and up, with room for 2 to 5 people at the table. Count on about 75 minutes in which nobody sits back and everyone wants to rule the plain.
