Welcome to the Vale of Eternity, a fantasy world full of monsters, spirits and gods! You are tamers and you will catch and tame legendary creatures. The ultimate goal is to master the mighty dragons. The 70 creatures from mythological tales from all over the world make every game unique and unpredictable. Each round, players acquire cards, take actions and apply the effects of the creatures they have summoned. The best tamer wins the game.

About the game

In The Vale of Eternity you collect mythical creatures. Each round has 3 phases. In the first phase you draw twice as many cards as there are players and lay them face up around the central board. Starting with the start player, everyone places one stone on a card in turn order, and then everyone places a second stone in reverse order. In the second phase, players take their turns one after another.

During your turn you can take actions: discard cards for coins, take cards into your hand, play cards from your hand (by paying coins) and remove cards from your play area. You may never have more than 4 coins, regardless of their value. The round determines how many cards may be in your play area. In phase three you carry out the effects of your cards with an hourglass. These give you coins and points, among other things.

The game ends after the 10th round or after the round in which a player reaches 60 points. In both cases, the player with the most points wins. (via Spellenwijs).
