Here you do not win by being the best, but by failing in the most entertaining way. Lose an election, get rid of all your belongings and insult the most important people in the highest circles. The game revolves around three separate contests. You can combine two of them or play all three at once. And that is the special part: every contest affects the other two. What you do in one carries over into the rest. So you constantly have to weigh up where to put your effort and how to keep everything in balance. Whoever juggles it best wins in the end. Around the table you get an atmosphere of teasing, laughing and giving your opponent just that little nudge that makes him win after all, even though he really does not want to. The Prodigals Club is a game for people who like a challenge and an evening full of sly schemes. For two to five players, and enough to keep you busy for about a hundred minutes.
