Welcome to New Orleans, somewhere around 1980. A city full of music, food and magic. Neon light flickers in the puddles along Bourbon Street, old traditions clash with the modern world, and a murder here is never just a murder. At the Beaumont Agency, a group of unusual private detectives works on the cases nobody else can solve. In The Dark Quarter you step into the shoes of one of those detectives together. This is a cooperative adventure game that you play with the help of an app. You work side by side to unravel the darkest crimes of New Orleans. And in this city, nothing is ordinary. Curses are sold on every street corner, voodoo priestesses and creatures of the night lurk in the shadows, and even the simplest crime has a supernatural edge. You feel the tension as you make choices together and try to get the truth out in the open. You play The Dark Quarter across several scenarios, as one big story that moves along with you. The decisions you make really do have consequences, both for your character and for the course of the story. Your detective is not a loose figure you simply swap out, but a person completely woven into the events. Their fate and the fate of New Orleans are inseparably linked.
