In a distant future, Earth is nothing more than an old legend. When humanity learned to travel safely through endless space, people spread across the stars at lightning speed. Thousands of worlds were settled, alliances grew into federations and eventually a great galactic empire arose that held out for thousands of years. But behind that shine lies unrest. Rebels, pretenders to the throne and strange creatures of every imaginable shape are watching for their chance. In Struggle for the Galactic Empire you alone take command of that empire's armed forces. You decide everything: military moves, political choices, how you keep the economy running and how you deal with the chaos looming on all sides. You build ships with nano-factories, send out fleets to discover new worlds and defend your borders against invaders. Some units destroy the enemy, while others turn him into an ally. Loyalty is never fixed, because the situation can flip at any moment. More than a hundred chaos tokens make sure no two games play out the same. One time you face a mutinous sector, the next a strange people appears or the economy collapses. With expeditions you search for new knowledge and technology, and with propaganda you keep uprisings under control. Expect long, absorbing evenings in which you alone hold the fate of an entire galaxy in your hands.
