Splendor Duel NL/FR

This edition is in French and Dutch. Two players, one table and a battle for the finest jewels. In Splendor Duel NL/FR you take each other on head to head. You collect tokens, buy sparkling jewel cards and try to stay just one step ahead of your opponent. Designed by Marc André and Bruno Cathala, two well known names in the board game world. On your turn you take tokens from the board or use the tokens you already have to buy jewel cards. With the privilege scrolls you may take a gem or pearl token of your choice, which gives you just that small advantage. Your jewel cards give you prestige points and crowns, and some cards make future purchases cheaper. Every move counts and you are constantly puzzling over the best choice. There are three ways to win: 20 or more prestige points, 10 or more crowns, or 10 prestige points on cards of the same colour. That keeps every game exciting until the very last moment. Perfect for an evening for two, in which you tease and challenge each other and sometimes surprise with an unexpected win.
