Similo Animals

Twelve animals are on the table and one of them is the secret one. As the clue giver you know which animal it is, but you are not allowed to say it. Instead you play other cards from your hand to steer your fellow players in the right direction. If you place a card upright, that animal is similar to the secret animal. If you place it sideways, that animal should be ruled out. Bit by bit you all creep closer to the answer. Say the secret animal is the crocodile. You place the iguana upright. Do you mean it is a reptile? Or that it is green, or that it has yellow eyes? Your fellow players have to try to read your mind, and that creates the best moments. A shared moment of doubt, then a look of recognition and the tension of whether you got it right. Similo Animals is played with two to eight people and a game takes just fifteen minutes. The cards are beautifully drawn by Na ies;ade and the game fits with the other titles in the Similo series, so you can keep combining endlessly. Ideal for a quick round in between or an evening full of animal guesswork.
