Sea or Shore

You travel from island to island with a small group of explorers, all hunting for secret treasure chests full of riches. But watch out: everyone wants the same loot. Who plays the highest card in the right colour and gets to claim the treasure? The exciting part is what you choose to reveal. You show either the colour or the number of your card, never both at once. In Sea or Shore it is all about collecting as much treasure as you can. You do that by playing the right island card at the right moment. Every time you make a choice: do you show the sea (the colour) or the shore (the number)? That keeps your fellow players guessing. Play the highest card of a colour and you take a treasure, or even snatch one away from someone else. Is your colour not in play? Then play an action card and turn the game to your advantage. After two full rounds the game ends. Whoever has collected the most treasure points is the winner. A brisk game for three to five players, with plenty of bluffing and tension at the table.
