In Saigon 75 you dive into a gripping piece of history. From the summer of 1973 to the spring of 1975, North and South Vietnam fight for power. You decide how that fight unfolds. The rules fit on a few pages and a game takes about an hour, but the tension never lets go. Every turn counts. The game really lets you feel the differences between the armies. The North's divisions play very differently from the South's Rangers, marines and paratroopers. Air power and desertion play a role too, and the event cards make sure every game goes differently. Playing the North? You win as soon as you hold the province of Saigon at the end of a turn. Playing the South? Then you have to defend Saigon through turn 8. Prefer to play alone? You can. In the solo version you take the South, and the North is run by a deck of cards that makes the decisions. The rules and the goal stay almost the same, so you are right in the same tense situation. A great challenge for anyone who enjoys sitting around the table together and for anyone who wants an evening of fighting on their own.
