Rolling Village

Welcome, mayor! In Rolling Village you build your own village with pen, paper and a bit of luck. Two dice decide what can rise up, and it is up to you to make something lovely of it. Houses, forests, lakes and little squares: it all slowly comes together on your village sheet. Each round one person rolls for the whole group. After that everyone works at the same time, so nobody has to wait long. You draw your buildings in the grid and pay close attention to where you place them. At the end of each round the sum of the dice decides which row scores points. Groups of the same type only count if they are in that row, so a bit of overview and courage helps a lot. After nine rounds you add everything up and see who built the nicest village. With a playing time of fifteen minutes this is a delightful game to fit in between other things, whether you play with two people or with a big group around the table. You can even play it on your own.
