Malpaso, 1894. A small village in the Wild West lives in fear. A gang of robbers led by the self-appointed 'General' Mapache threatens to take everything from the farmers. Their last hope is the once beloved 'Padre' Esteban, who gathers a small group of hired guns to defend the village. Then the fight breaks out, and both sides are armed to the teeth. In Revolver 2: Last Stand at Malpaso you each take on a different role. One of you plays General Mapache with his gang of bandits, the other leads the villagers and their protectors under the Padre. Both players have their own deck with their own options and their own ways to win. That means you each play in a completely different way, and it really feels like two camps facing off. There is plenty to experience. Put a Gatling gun on a mine cart, blow up a bridge, put together your own crew of gunmen or send a mine tunnel sky high. There is even a little poker game that decides where the first bullets fall. The nice thing is that you can explain the rules in five minutes, after which you can get straight into it. Please note: this is a standalone game and the cards do not work with the first Revolver.
