Revolution of 1828

It is 1828 and in the young United States the elections are coming up again. John Quincy Adams and Andrew Jackson are fighting for the favour of the people. For the first time the campaign is not only fought in the streets, but also in the newspapers and in front of a curious public. This election went down in the history books because of the harsh and nasty way it was fought. It was America's very first smear campaign. In Revolution of 1828 you play with two players and try to become the next president. You take the election tiles that best fit your plan, while throwing a spanner in your opponent's works. With those tiles you win the support of electors and you run smear campaigns to get people on your side. Play your campaign actions well and get the press to look the other way, and nothing can stop you. Whoever has the most votes at the end gets to serve as the seventh president of America. A tough duel for two, in which every move counts and you keep blocking each other until the very last moment.
